Her entire family works in \ntechnical specialties that is how she decided to link her hobby \u2013 \ndrawing and the technical aspects. She grad\u00aduated from the College of \nArts on a specialty the designer. After graduating from the University, \nshe decided to discover her country and get experience in different \ndirections.&nbsp; She started her career in a manufacturing company that \ndeals with architectural solu\u00adtions, where she had the opportunity to \nstudy materials and methods of processing it in production. A few years \nlater, she moved to Saint Petersburg, a city that is the cultural \ncapital of Russia. She started working in the company, which is engaged \nin the design of cultural, educational and exhibition centres as a \ndesigner-architect. Her main task was to generate ideas and actively \nsearch for ways to implement them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then she found out about ESC (European Solidarity Corps) volunteering\n opportunity from a friend who shared only positive emotions. She \nconfessed that she chose the ESC project here in Lefkada, Greece \n&nbsp;coordinated by Solidarity Tracks organization to discover new culture, \ntraditions, to improve her skills, furthermore to gain more \nself-confidence while offering help to the people in need. As solidarity\n action, she made her service in the Elderly Care Center of Lefkada \n(coordinated by Solidarity Tracks organization), supporting the \nresidents of the center in their daily life and in their creative \ndevelopment. Being on the Island gave her a lot of opportunities for \ncreativity: research, drawing in the fresh air, good weather, and \ntraveling on bike. This is how the idea of exhibition born. As her hobby\n she was painting details, places, spots of Lefkada with the aim, that \nthese painting will decorate the walls of the residents in the Elderly \nCenter. Since the elderly does not have the opportunity or the \npossibility for longer walks and enjoying the surrounding, she aimed to \nbring Lefkada in their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The paintings are a testimony of living moments of the volunteer, \nbeyond reality in everyday life, places she visited, she discovered, \nspots of beauty, moments showing the peace of the Island. Since Covid \ntime was also part during her service, she took this period as a \npositive aspect.&nbsp; She catches nature when peace and relax takes charge \nand shows itself. Mostly these moments were the source of inspiration in\n Gulnaz paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her style in the paintings is characterized by big color shapes, \ngiving a unique dynamic for her artworks. The colors she chooses usually\n are more dark and intensive ones in order to give a more monumental \naspect for her relatively small dimension paintings. Her works are \nrepresentative, simultaneously classical and modern, formalist and \nexpressionist.The patch of colors which characterize her paintings offer\n for the viewer adventures to be discovered.
